FAMILY SCIENCE NIGHT FINANCIAL SUPPORT

It costs approximately $800 to produce a Family Science Night and additional funds can help to invite more schools to participate and rent additional exhibits from other sources.  Please consider making a financial contribution.  Donations of $250 or more will be recognized in our press and on our website for all 4 nights.  We need to keep these nights FREE so that we can be available for every child who has an interest in science.

Please also note that you can make a donation through payroll deductions through United Way – if you would like to do this please contact us at 845-276-2076 ext.201 for details or see your payroll department and tell them you want your United Way contribution to be designated for The Putnam Children’s Discovery Center add the appropriate regional code and weekly donations will come to us. (Call us / email us for your regional code)

You can also have these monies matched by your employer, please check to see if your company has a matching grant program.  Most matching grants work like this:  You make a check to us for $25 and then fill out paperwork from your employer that you include with your donation.  We fill out “our part” of that paperwork and send that paperwork back to your employer who matches it at 50%; 100% or 150% depending on your firm.  Making a donation through the Matching Grant Program worth more than your original check.
